	LeighAnn McLaud Principal lmclaud@ccboe.com Ms. McLaud returns to Berry as the Principal. This is her 23rd year in education and her 7th year in Administration. "It is my goal to cultivate a "community of care" where students, teachers/staff, families, and all stakeholders invest deeply into Berry Elementary and our great community. Through quality teaching and learning, students can safely develop into well-rounded, confident, and responsible individuals who aspire to achieve their full potential." 	Rachel Baker Assistant Principal rabaker@ccboe.com Ms. Baker is joining the Berry team as an Assistant Principal. This is her 18^th year in education. She began her career teaching for Fairfax County Public Schools. When she moved back to Maryland in 2016, she worked for Calvert County Public schools where she served in various roles such as Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, and Mentor Teacher Specialist. When Ms. Baker made the move back to her hometown of Charles County, she was the Instructional Resource Teacher at Indian Head Elementary School. Rachel enjoys reading, running and spending time with her two children.
	Jason Peer Assistant Principal jpeer@ccboe.com Mr. Peer will also be joining our Berry staff as an Assistant Principal. Prior to coming to Berry, Mr. Peer served for five years as the Assistant Principal at Eva Turner Elementary School. He began his career in Charles County Public Schools in 2007 as a school counselor at Dr. Mudd Elementary School. Mr. Peer is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a National Certified School Counselor (NCSC). He is a Steelers fan and lives locally with his wife and daughter.
