Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) will hold a Social Security Administration (SSA) virtual community forum Jan. 23.
Diana Varela, public affairs specialist with the SSA, will discuss SSA eligibility, determination, Medicare versus Medicaid, the application process, representative payee services and additional resources to assist families with applying for SSA services for children. The Zoom presentation will start at 6 p.m. There will be two presentations — one in English, and one in Spanish.
